Hey, I’m Kenny, and I love fitness and training. Here is a brief past history of whom I am… Leaving High School I was obese, I was 290 lbs. I had huge passion for pro wrestling, and knew being 290lbs wouldn’t get me where I wanted to get. I studied all the nutrition I could get my hands on. I lost over 100 pounds within a year and became teaching nutrition lessons to my peers. Then I got injured wrestling. Tore my shoulder not once, but twice. Ouch! Why is this relevant? Well, here is where the fitness bug got me, big time. High School pic, 290lbs High School pic, 290lbs I sought out rehabilitation and strength training, studying structural balance and optimal ways to train. Since becoming a full time coach, I have helped to develop faster, stronger athletes and help people become all around bad asses. Most of all, we have fun doing it! Seeing someone’s confidence boost is one of the biggest things I get out of being a coach. The benefits of being a coach you can’t get with any other profession. Fitness isn’t just physical, its emotional, and mental toughness. This is why I created liftyourselfup.com, it’s about lifting oneself up from an emotional state to physical state, strength starts from within. I’m passionate about getting the right info out to the public, none of this guru non sense. I want to impact peoples lives, improve health and wellness for everyone. If I’m not training someone, you bet you can find me reading or writing training articles. Education, education, education. So feel free to browse around and tell me what you think.
